Direct access to the ski resort
With the new Möslbahn, you can go directly from Schwendberg to the Mountopolis ski area! The lift is located on the mountain in close proximity to Haus Schöser. Accessible by ski bus or car in just a few minutes. Here, you'll also find a ski school, ski rental, and a sports shop!
From Apart Schöser, you can take the ski bus to the Horbergbahn / Mountopolis or reach other ski areas such as Zillertal Arena or Hochzillertal in about 10-15 minutes by car.

The Mountopolis ski resort (by Mayrhofner Bergbahnen) offers skiing enthusiasts 142 kilometers of slopes and 60 modern ski lifts. Action lovers will find fulfillment on the challenging slopes of Penken, while leisure skiers, families, and beginners can enjoy the practice slopes at Möslbahn on Schwendberg. Especially brave skiers can dare to conquer the infamous "Harakiri", Austria's steepest slope. For freestylers, the "Penken Park", with its diverse obstacles and lines, is an absolute must-visit. Winter hiking
Start your enchanting winter hike directly from our Haus Schöser or Apart Schöser! A popular destination is the Brindlingalm or Nasenalm (starting point Haus Schöser). After a brief stop at the hosts "Honis & Christa", you can sled 2.5 km downhill! Numerous hiking trails also lead through the Mayrhofen Hippach holiday region from our Apart Schöser.

The Schöser apartments are located close to the Mountopolis ski area operated by Mayrhofner Bergbahnen. Guests staying at Haus Schöser can reach the Möslbahn lift within just a few minutes, while the ski bus provides convenient access from Apartment Schöser to the Horbergbahn lift.
